Phillippa and Matt chose me to photograph their wedding at Redcoats having seen some of my previous work at the venue and because they wanted a photographer who had experience of winter weddings. They needed a wedding photographer that could record the story of their special day using the darker winter conditions to enhance the photos rather than having it inhibit them.

Amy and Chris chose the St Albans Registry Office for their wedding ceremony. Keeping things sweetly simple and intimate they shared their special day with just a handful of their closest family. Weddings at the St Albans Registry Office are an absolute favourite booking for me as a Hertfordshire wedding photographer. It is a very elegant wedding venue.  I've been part of lots and lots of really lovely wedding ceremonies there over the years.

Katherine and Evren chose the genuinely stunning Micklefield Hall in South Hertfordshire as the place to make their vows and celebrate their wedding. With elegant formal gardens, a 16th century tithe barn, and a romantic waterside temple, Micklefield Hall provides an enchanting back drop. One that leaves the wedding photographer completely spoilt for choice!

Charlotte and Adam were married at the pretty St Albans register office in front of their closest family and friends. They booked my 2 hour ceremony package to record this special occasion. I started 30 minutes before the ceremony began to take photographs of their guests arriving as Adam eagerly awaited the arrival of his beautiful bride.

Yes, yes, it is the middle of summer and in any other context I should absolutely not be mentioning the C word! I knew Lucy was going to have a gorgeous, elegant and fun filled day. And, with fiancé James they absolutely did. It was an absolute pleasure to be there and to be their wedding photographer at St Michael’s Manor Hotel in St Albans!

Julia and Jason dated at school but went on to lead separate lives. That is, at least, until their paths crossed again later in life and they just knew it was meant to be. It really doesn’t get much more romantic than that! It was an absolute delight to photograph their intimate wedding celebration at Hotel Cromwell in Stevenage and a privilege to be there when they finally said “I do”.

On Saturday 27th of November last year the UK felt the full force of storm Arwen. Following two previously cancelled wedding attempts this was not going to get in the way of Stef and Mike’s dream wedding day. Outside as wind howled and rain lashed, our couple made their vows and partied the day away cozy inside the beautifully rustic barn at Redcoats (The Farmhouse at Redcoats).

Summer 2021 saw our amazing NHS couple make their vows for real! And, they were able to do so in front of family and friends at the beautiful Hertfordshire venue, Essendon Country Club. This is the story of their real wedding day and the incredible celebration that it was!

Once the confetti had settled celebrations swiftly commenced. The congregation made the most of the beautiful weather with drinks, canopies and traditional games in the gardens. Meanwhile Tewin Bury staff lit BBQs and chilled groom Guy’s favourite beers (in a bespoke homemade ice bath complete with running tap no less) in preparation for the wedding breakfast and speeches.
