On Saturday 27th of November last year the UK felt the full force of storm Arwen. Following two previously cancelled wedding attempts this was not going to get in the way of Stef and Mike’s dream wedding day. Outside as wind howled and rain lashed, our couple made their vows and partied the day away cozy inside the beautifully rustic barn at Redcoats (The Farmhouse at Redcoats).

Summer 2021 saw our amazing NHS couple make their vows for real! And, they were able to do so in front of family and friends at the beautiful Hertfordshire venue, Essendon Country Club. This is the story of their real wedding day and the incredible celebration that it was!

Once the confetti had settled celebrations swiftly commenced. The congregation made the most of the beautiful weather with drinks, canopies and traditional games in the gardens. Meanwhile Tewin Bury staff lit BBQs and chilled groom Guy’s favourite beers (in a bespoke homemade ice bath complete with running tap no less) in preparation for the wedding breakfast and speeches.

What is it like to get married in a Cathedral?

Days are short the air is cold and crisp, and there is no more romantic time of year than winter to cosy up to your beloved to say “I do”.
